"He's been really instrumental in helping us continue to evolve the look of the game. It is grittier in some ways, but hopefully still inviting to a broad base of players. We have definitely revamped unit appearances, also character appearances to respond directly to some of the player feedback that we got early on."
Allen Dilling is the art director for Stormgate.[1]
Biography[]
Dilling is a former member of Blizzard Entertainment. He contributed to Warcraft III, StarCraft: Ghost, Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft. He was lead artist for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm and the lead 3D artist for Legacy of the Void.[1]
Dilling was announced as Stormgate's art director in October, 2024. He will oversee the IP's visual identity, starting with the game's factions, and of the three, beginning with the Infernal Host.[1] He did not replace a pre-existing staff member in obtaining the position.[2] Under Dillig's direction, Stormgate underwent a visual redesign, becoming more "gritty."[3]
